# RankBlob > RankBlob is a free App Store and Google Play keyword checker for indie builders — people shipping apps and agents, with discovery research, travel-agent field notes, and a free builder community. The free checker supports one app and up to five keywords in the US store. Apple checks use the public iTunes Search API in the browser, with up to 200 returned results. Google Play beta uses a server-side first-page web search in US English, cached up to 15 minutes; each card states the actual result count and source time. Positions are source-specific snapshots, not official ranks, download estimates, or search-volume scores. Android beta does not include Pro monitoring or ownership verification. Agent field notes are sourced editorial research, not hands-on benchmark results. Checks require JavaScript; guides and research are static HTML. Pro covers Apple app tracking; the free Google Play beta is separate. Free community accounts use email verification and a public handle; builders can commit to opportunities and optionally attach apps. Ownership verification requires a one-time code in the live App Store description. Published board snapshots show apps that rank in the App Store, not registered RankBlob members. Dates on studies describe when the data was checked; ranks can change. ## Product and methodology - [Coding agents, by discoverability — Agent Standings · RankBlob](https://rankblob.com/agents/coding): The coding agents people actually find: directory standings measured Oct 21, 2026, plus the case for judging agents on what builders vouch for, not just what ranks. - [Customer service agents, by discoverability — Agent Standings · RankBlob](https://rankblob.com/agents/customer-service): The customer service agents people actually find: directory standings measured Oct 21, 2026, plus the case for judging agents on what builders vouch for, not just what ranks. - [Agent standings — which agents get found · RankBlob](https://rankblob.com/agents/): Discovery standings for AI agents by task, measured from public directories — plus effectiveness as reported by the builders who run them. - [Sales agents, by discoverability — Agent Standings · RankBlob](https://rankblob.com/agents/sales): The sales agents people actually find: directory standings measured Oct 21, 2026, plus the case for judging agents on what builders vouch for, not just what ranks. - [Guides & Studies — RankBlob](https://rankblob.com/blog/): Data-backed App Store search guides, listing teardowns, and rank studies from RankBlob — every number measured live from Apple's public search data. - [RankBlob — Free App Store & Google Play Rank Checker](https://rankblob.com/check/): Check keyword positions on the App Store or Google Play.
