Appfigures: put your ranks in context

A higher rank is encouraging. It’s more useful when you can ask what happened to downloads, revenue, and feedback around the same time. Appfigures is a broader app analytics and intelligence platform for exploring those questions.

Reach for it when: your questions span search visibility, business performance, and competitors.

What it does

Appfigures offers app analytics, keyword research and rank tracking, reviews and ratings tools, and market intelligence. Its analytics product brings together downloads, revenue, subscriptions, and reviews; its intelligence products support competitor and market research.

Choose the question before the dashboard

Start with a specific decision: should you improve the listing, investigate a release, or explore a new market? That question determines which data is worth collecting. More charts don’t automatically make a small team’s next step clearer.

Try a release review

  1. Mark the change. Note when a release, listing edit, or campaign went live.
  2. Keep the scope consistent. Compare the same app, storefront, and time windows.
  3. Look beyond rank. Check whether changes in visibility coincide with changes in downloads or revenue.
  4. Read the feedback. Look for reviews describing friction that might explain why new attention isn’t turning into continued use.
  5. Choose one follow-up. Write a hypothesis and the evidence you’d need before changing direction.

Keep different kinds of data separate

When reviewing any analytics suite, establish which figures come from your connected store accounts and which are third-party estimates. Ask about methodology before treating competitor figures like your own reporting. A change in rank and a change in downloads can happen together without proving one caused the other.

How it pairs with RankBlob

RankBlob can answer a narrow public-search question quickly. A suite makes sense when you need a broader investigation or ongoing reporting. Check which features your intended plan includes; don’t choose a plan just because it contains more tools.
