When you request a community account, RankBlob stores your email address, handle, commitments, keyword-room memberships, and any optional projects you add. Your email stays private. Your handle and commitments appear in the keyword rooms you join. App data imported from Apple is public listing data; ownership remains unverified until you prove control with a one-time code in your App Store description.
Verification emails are delivered through Cloudflare Email Service. Sign-in links expire after 15 minutes and are single-use. A secure session cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. For deletion or corrections, email hello@norlandlabs.com.
The free checker runs entirely in your browser. When you check an app, your browser talks directly to Apple's public search API — the apps and keywords you enter are never sent to us. There is no account, and there are no analytics or advertising trackers on the checker page. We cannot see what you check, because the data never reaches our servers.
Pro (launching with paid plans) needs an account to do its job. For Pro we store:
That's the whole list — it's the data the features run on, and nothing else. We don't sell it or share it with third parties for marketing. To delete your account and all of its data, email us and we'll remove it.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number goes directly to Stripe and never touches our servers; we receive only the subscription status needed to keep your Pro plan active.

RankBlob reports positions in Apple's public search results, fetched from the iTunes Search API. Rankings are provided as-is: they are an observable proxy for App Store search rank, not an official figure published by Apple (Apple publishes none). How the number works, and where it can differ from what an individual user sees in the App Store, is documented on our methodology page. Search results change constantly; a rank is a snapshot at check time.
Pro is billed monthly or yearly through Stripe. You can cancel anytime; cancelling keeps Pro active until the end of the period you've already paid for, and it simply doesn't renew after that.
